Fried Rice


Fried Rice



  • 1 Cup Long Grain White Rice cooked to package instructions
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Peas cooked
  • 1 Carrot chopped
  • 1/2 cup Onion finely diced
  • 1/4 cup Tamari or soy sauce


  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Block Tofu
  • 1/3 Cup Corn Starch
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Green Onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tbsp Tamari or Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Miso
  • 1/2 Cup Water



  1. Cook rice according to instructions. Cook peas according to instructions. Heat olive oil in pan. Sauté onion and carrots in pan or wok for 5 minutes. Add rice and tamari and cook for another 5 minutes.

  3. Heat oil in separate pan. Cut tofu into cubes. Press with cloth to get moisture out. Put in bowl and add corn starch. Mix with hands. Sauté in pan until brown. Mix miso with water until combined. Add all ingredients except miso. Sauté for another 3 minutes. Add miso mixture and cook for another 3 minutes.

  4. Serve with tofu on top of rice. Enjoy!!!
