Avocado and Chickpea Sandwich

Avocado Chickpea Sandwich


  • 1/2 Cup Chickpeas--smashed
  • 1/2 Avocado--smashed
  • 1 tsp lime (half lime)
  • 2 Tbsp Vegenaise or an vegan mayo
  • 2 tsp Hemp Seeds
  • dash Garlic powder
  • dash Salt
  • 2 slices Bread
  • 1 slice Tomato (optional)
  • 1 slice onion rounds (optional)
  • 1 Romaine leaf (optional)


  1. Smash chickpeas. They don't have to be perfectly smashed. Some whole chickpeas creates texture. Smash avocado. Combine all ingredients except for the vegenaise, tomato, onion, and Romaine. Spread Vegenaise on bread and spoon chickpea mix to make a sandwich. 

    Slice onions, romaine, and tomato for extra flavor, nutrients and texture 🙂
