- 1/3 package Tempeh
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Vegan Worchestire Sauce
- 1 tsp olive oil
Boil Tempeh in water for 10 minutes. This makes it easier on your tummy. While that is boiling mix together the rest of the ingredients.
Once tempeh is finished boiling, let cool and slice as thin as possible without it breaking. Pour Sauce over tempeh and let soak for as long as you can. Overnight is great, but if not possible, go for it and cook it after soaking for a few minutes. Heat olive oil in pan and layer tempeh evenly. Pour sauce over temp and let brown. Flip to brown the other side.
Seven Layer Sandwich
- 1 medium sized Baguette sub gluten free bread if needed
- 1/2 Avocado--mashed
- 6 Slices Tempeh Can be store bought or make your own. See recipe.
- 3 Slices of tomato
- 3 Slices of pickles
- 1 Tbsp Vegenaise
- Sliced onion to taste
Spread mashed avocado onto bread. Spread vegenaise onto other side of bread. Layer ingredients.
